FAUX FINISHES & TECHNIQUES

Faux finishes and various techniques can sometimes be complex because I make use of the rooms. With newer homes where you have varying dimensions with curved walls and ceilings, I find it important to familiarize myself with the contents of the room such as furniture, flooring, lighting, and window treatments. All of these things in conjunction with my painting can really make the room stand out and serve as a vocal point to all who visit it. More  importantly I strive to make all of the rooms flow and come together although I may not paint each and every room. The interior of your home is much like nature in that you want the room to be warm and serene almost as though it’s talking to you . I have client’s say that they find it hard to leave home because I have created this tranquil ambience that takes you to another place. I have used my own home as a testimonial to the use of space to accentuate these techniques. Every room in a house has its own story and serves a purpose. The choice of colors and techniques can really make a room stand out with an identity of its own.
